Default Another NPP Exhaust Video w/ Mild-2-Wild

Ed's (Pipedreams) little invention, Mild-2-Wild is really a cool toy. It takes the NPP to an even cooler level of fun. What's your personality for the day? Let the car change along with you. This is by far the easiest mod I have ever installed taking longer to read the instructions than it did to actually put it in.

Very cool. Nice job Pipedreams!

Here is a 3 min comparison video showing NPP in it's different personalities under varying conditions and using the Mild-2-Wild to control it.

Figured I would give him a plug while allowing those who want to hear the NPP and those that want to see how the M2W works a closer look at the whole setup. You will want to have headphones or a good sound system with a subwoofer to get the full effect.

Default mild to wild

Is this a stock 08 with the factory optional pipes opening the exhaust valves, or is this a modified car....if modified, in what way?

Best Mod for the Dual mode exhaust by far! Everybody is just amazed by it and it sounds great too. Took 5 minutes to install it in the NCM parking lot before we left and gave us the feeling of the new Vettes power on the ride home even though we were breaking it in and couldn't really get on it yet.

I agree. I have been running it in full wild mode and I'm surprised at how much I like it. I thought it may be too loud but it's not really.

Same here, I love the sound and the M2W switch is great. A huge benefit of NPP though, is the ability to close the valves if you want it a bit quieter.

Default Mild 2 wild video

Thank you for your response and the great video. Will be sure to get this for my yet to be ordered C6. Can't wait to hear what it will sound like in real life and especially after I have long tube headers installed.
BTW if anyone has that combo, please give us some feedback and/or a sound clip.

Same here, wild mode nearly 100% of the time! I only tone it down on my street early morning or at night.

Default Mild 2 Wild

Great job on the video, just wondering about popping on deceleration, sounds like there may be some.

If you have it set to wild, and you turn the car off for the night, when you come back the next day, does it stay on wild or do you have to open it back up every time you start it?

It'll start back up in Wild mode. In fact Every start is in Wild until Vac builds up and the valves close (stock or Mild mode)

I Velcro'd mine to the dash so I can just extend a finger to make the change...

There is definately burble and that is by design of the system. It was intentional from the engineers.
