Still Lovin' That Pinnacle Deep Gloss Finish
Here's some pics from a couple of car shows I attended this weekend showing off the amazing results of Pinnacle Souverän Carnauba Paste Wax. What do you think?...

That is a high quality paint job with very little orange people (which will sharpen the reflections dramatically). Add this in with the overcast sky which tends to "brighten" dark colors in reflections and you have a bright, crisp picture which many people associate with a sealant.
I know a lot of people talk about depth, but the truth is you cannot see depth on pictures. Depth perception is a factor of two of our eyes focusing on an object (the closer the image is between our left and right eyes, the farther away it looks). Basically you need a 3D enviorment to see depth, pictures are 2D.
Eitherways it looks amazing, and with that nice or a paint job, anything would look great!

Interesting observation, because I orginally thought the same thing when I looked at the pictures.

Anything would look GREAT on that paint job. That is one of the nicest paint jobs I have ever seen in my life, I cannot wait to see it again this year at Corvettes at Carlisle. This is just further proof that it is 80% prep and 20% LSP. That said Pinnacle Souveran is one of the best Carnuaba's I have ever used.

That paint looks incredibly deep and wet. Is that a factory paint job? It looks too good to be from the General. Nice prep work

yes, as some of the comments above, I have to wonder:
was that paint wet sanded?
it looks like you have perfect paint, no orange peel at all - and that paint would look fantastic with no sealant on it at all.
beautiful car, and beautiful finish with Pinnacle. But I have no doubt there was a LOT of good prep work before the Pinnacle was applied. Gotta give a lot of credit to the detailer, not necessarily the last step product.

Question: From what I know about orange peel, it can be in the paint OR the clearcoat. If in the paint, isn't it true that there's not much us mere mortals can do without cutting through the clearcoat to flatten it? And, then that implies having to respray the clearcoat professionally.
