How to make a PERFECT start with Z06?
Hello,
Does anybody knows how to make a perfect start with Z06?
(from starting the engine to finish line) Engine, start, rpm, gear change etc.
Some videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8HLcp_nkeU
By the book 0-100km/h is 3,8sec My best time with driftbox is 4,5
and 400m race time is 12,34sec. I need help!
All info and tips are welcomed!
Is there any starting control system for Z06,
what helps to make a perfect start?
Regards,
Tom

Audio recorded inside the car to reveal what the driver hears during an acceleration run.
Launch rpm (on drag strip surface) 3350.
Fast clutch release.
Throttle squeeze progressively to the floor after clutch release
Target shift point 7000.
Fast shifts with some lift of the throttle.

It takes practice and a good surface for traction. I have run a 0 to 60 best of 3.39 on my G-Tech Pro. My best 1/4 mile at the track is 11.50 at 126.33.... the same run the G-Tech read 11.46 at 126.85... I believe it to be very accurate.

Stage, then...a few things to do before the launch.
Activate Gtech Pro data logger.
Activate HPTuner data logger.
Recheck in-car video to verify rolling.
Recheck in-car digital audio recorder to verify rolling.
Then set launch rpm and go.
My reaction time is usually better when I'm not collecting data. On the other hand, hard to produce a DVD without that data

The rest of us have a bunch of separate buttons to push.
Thought it worth mentioning the source of the delay.
