Default Painted Pexiglass Targa Roof Panel

Thought I'd post a picture of my painted glass roof panel. Came out super sweet. From the inside it looks like a black mirror.

alot of people paint them b/c of the delamination on the glass roofs, its cheaper than new glass.

2 different things, the c6 the actual top seperated from the frame. With the c5 the tops starts to flake and look spotted, only way currently to fix is paint or reglass. Some have sanded the plexi out but it takes time.

I only have the plexi top for my coupe and it's scratched. I've thought of painting it also.
Looks good.

Exactly It looked like crap. A replacemnet was too expensive. If I want to see the sky....., I remove the top.

And before anyone asks, the paint shop quoted $380 , but since they "owed" me they did it for $100. (I gave them $200 because of the amount of work involved and it came out so great.)

I painted my glass top almost two years ago and it still looks great. Its true, the inside is like a mirror when you look up - its kind of cool. Yours looks great. Good luck, Rob
