Thanks for the hours of entertainment over the past few months, I look forward to seeing the post where you get Grond running.
Ah, but you are incorrect, Young Grasshopper... after Cruise In VIII (end of May), Grond will be off the road again...

I have a few more mods in mind that I do not have time to complete right now

HI EG,

Will there be a brake upgrade, cross-drilled or otherwise?

Grond is looking good!

And you are actually considering a color other than black?

OK, EG, you got me again!

"Welcome, and on this evening's "Masterpiece Theatre" presentation of "As the Grond Turns" we investigate how they "talk funny" over on the other side of the pond."

And this "installment" includes this very delicious morsel:

"So strange to see Grond caparisoned again…"

My "American Heritage College Dictionary" tells me that it is "an ornamental covering for a horse or for its saddle or harness."

Does that give us some hint as to how many "horses" are gonna' be stashed under there?

As always, a most enlightening thread!

OMG!!! Grond is no longer naked!! Looks like things are coming along nicely. Question, why did you need to get new fenders?

Hopefully, I'll get to see Grond in person at the cruise in.

Very . I have a question for you...are you going to do fixed headlights, such as C5Rs or are you a diehard pop-up guy?

I do applaud the work you have been doing, it is amazing what can be done in one's garage.

No, I detest non-popups on a C5 with the intensity of a thousand suns.... Personal preference.

Thanks for the kudos

Tom,

Not only does Stephen have a way with cars, he equally has a way with ten syllable words

"The Necropolis Litharge" is that Elvish for front fascia.

I still love those calipers.
