I actually had a place in Newburgh NY do the work. The place is called People Hookin' Up Cars (great guys, I highly recommend them for anyone looking for custom audio installers in the NY/CT/Northern NJ area). www.peoplehookin.com
They actually built a complete false floor for the entire trunk area, so that the top of the amp sits flush with the false floor, and they did a fantastic job of building up and carpeting the two side compartments, including making new hatch panels using the stock latches, so it all looks original (you know, original, but WAY custom ). The entire trunk area couldn't be more clean and finished-looking. These are really bad pics, but I hope to be able to take some more tomorrow when I can take some with light that does the install justice.

that looks fantastic!!! that cover just looks so much better then i had imagined! I am envious!
i'm so glad you posted those pictures as well. i was worried about using 4 pieces for my false floor so i made it out of three... but seems in your install don;t look out of place. i may have to steal that idea!
HOW DOES IT SOUND??
