Nice picture. Looks like some louvers proximal to the headlight assembly. I bet the engineers must had lots of fun putting that hood scoop on there. Looks like something I could do with a sawzall, some Elmer's glue and duct tape.

I'll probably wait till the 3rd year of the SS when they refine it and or update the hardware to make it more reliable.

Nice.....I wish I could get my hands on one when productions starts. Although I guess that the Blue Devil/Stingray will never find its way to Europe.....

Any word on when the SS is supposed to debut? Wouldnt be at NAIAS in january by any chance?

Not sure of stroke but I believe it will be standard LS2, with a 4.06 Bore. Same as the new L92 aluminum 6.2litre blocks now available from Scoggins Dickey for $1299 bare block. These are the blocks for the new Denali & Escalades which share many parts with LS2's.

Jan of this year already happened. :-) NAIAS of next year is a very unlikely time for the SS to debut. I'll bet it's not until Jan of '08 for an '09 model year.
