Video: Z06 on the dyno/ Melrose Headers
Mods- Melrose 1 7/8" Z06 Monster Flow system
The only thing changed were the headers, x-pipe, and cats. Car was not dyno tuned and still has factory cat back(mufflers), air filter, and so forth.
15.2 HP+
25.1 Torque+
As usual - car was tested at independent shop by customers' choice, and not "in house".

I agree. The sound of the car is a BIG part of the marketing.

They actually did two dyno runs at livernois in early winter one on a Mustang dyno and another on a Dynojet. After the headers were installed, they repeated the same pulls last week, one on a Mustang dyno and one on a dynojet. The Mustang dyno showed a gain of 38 hp, which I can post on Monday or Tuesday. I don't have a graph overlay so it's kind of hard to read. Since there was such a drastic difference between the 2 pulls I decided to avoid opening up a can of worms (too late), so I played it safe and posted the dynojet results. Personally I don't think 25 ft. lbs of TQ and 15 HP is bad for a car running factory air intake and mufflers. Also the guy at livernois said it was in bad need of a dyno tune. The largest benefit you will find with our system is; no ground clearance issues, excellent clearances on wiring and plumbing, VERY easy install, and warrantied ceramic coat to keep any heat issues at bay.
Also check our track record, we never leave a customer hang out to dry if an issue surfaces.
Maybe if the owner of the car sees this he may want to pipe in.
Thank you
Chris

Sorry for the delay, the baseline numbers are low which may be just the way Mustang dynos operate. Maybe someone on the board has one and they can enlighten us. Livernois also mentioned something about the RPM's being a little different from one to the other.
