Default Why spend over $100 when it looks good free!!!

I did this back in April but finally started posting pics so now I can show everyone how it looks, well first this is how you do it .....

1. Open your door

2. With a phillips screw driver unscrew the 2 screws that hold the door pad to the door.

3. Slide off the door handle.

4. Place the pad back in place without the handle and screw.

5. Might need some cleaning to do on the outside where the handle usto be.

Finished Free Product (not really a product)

I only accept paypal and money orders Thank You

I suppose it's a great idea for those of you so inclined, but personally, I like the stock black piece too. It gives something to hold onto while opening and closing the door without fingerprint smudges, and lots of people have commented about how smart the contrast of a few black pieces look on my Silver C6.
The world would be so boring if everyone liked the same things...

Very neat. If the finish does get scratched or scuffed, the handle, colored or original can be re-installed.

This, my friend, ought to be listed in the dictionary under "Hack", so that people can see that a good hack is clever, expedient, once understood looks like it should have been obvious to you (but only once explained to you, or described!), and can be executed easily, with good result!

Looks good but where do you touch the door when you close it? I always touch the handle so I don't have to touch the paint.
