Default Photobicket tutorial... new...

Hey guys,

I slapped this together pretty quick as I know some folks were having difficulty with the other tutorial. Being done awhile back and so many changes to Photobucket's site has left some confusion. I hope this helps... If you need me to clarify anything, just ask, Il'l do the best I can.

Very cool. This should be a sticky in all sections. Not just PNW.

I was thinking about asking the Mods to let me redo the one in the Help Section because it's out of date. I guess warped minds think alike.

Thank you for doing it. When you are finished with feedback and get everything squared away I think you can get the Mods to move it to the Help Section.

Default Is there an easier way to do this?

Do you have to go to a third party to post pics?

Default No longer challenged

Thanks too much. I've pretty much always been "photo upload challenged", but I think even I can get this done.

The Forum used to have a picture hosting capability and a way to build a personal web page, but the ability to get a userid and password went away a few years ago.

There is a way to get your car pics up, but the Mods have to approve the pisc before they get uploaded. Go to User CP and go down the list to "Pictures and Albums"

Otherwise you have to use something like Photobucket or Photohost. Your ISP should also provide you with some amout of space to post pics.

Good info. I agree that this should be a sticky.

I wished people would not quote someone and repost all the pics a second, and third time.

If my avatar is a silver C6 your tutorial worked. If it's a C6 emblem I'll have to try again!

Maybe they dont realize that if you click the reply button it doesnt copy all of the original posters pics, etc., and that hitting the quote button does!

But all you have to do is to delete the IMG tags and URL in the quoted reply so that the pics don't show up. Just make sure that you leave in the ending [/QUOTE] tag whe deleting the IMG stuff

There IS a sticky.. It's in the HELP section of the forum Actually there looks to be at least THREE stickies discussing how to learn how to post pics. Plus it allows you to test in a section that no one really looks at
