Default Is 92-96 Vette still Fast?

No doubt back in the day they were, but by todays standards.Look at the newer cars, thay make pretty good power. Now a days a sedan has almost 300hp. lil civics wit right at 200hp. The ls1 F-bodys wit small mods are bullies. And with every ricer and their brother buying turbos,The stock LT1 is the lil guy.I guess its all up to who you ask.I rode a friend the other day and,she though my car was the second comeing.

Yes, but with all the money you're saving on speeding tickets due to the fact that you drive a tired old LT1, perhaps you can afford to take a class and learn how to spell and use proper grammar.

I'm sure your friend would be pleased to know you let us all know that you rode her the other day.

I dont know what your comparing it to, but my L98 isnt even slow by todays standards. Its more than just the horsepower under the hood. For example look at some of the new Mopar muscle, 400+ hp but they're slow as hell with all that weight. So no most cars cant compete with a C4.

I'm very happy with the power and speed of my 96 LT-1. Plus I still get 17-18mpg in the city and 28-29 mpg on the highway. Not too many 300hp cars can claim that. It certainly has a lot more competition these days, but it's still a strong head turner IMO!

The LS cars are quick, but its not too hard to mod any C4 to match it. The SRT cars are slow, except for the Viper. Most of them run high 13's, which an LT1 can take. Ford has nothing currently either.

This is kinda apples to grapes, but the 03/04 Cobras are on the do not race list.

My LT4 is DEFINITELY still fast. the Lt1's 300 HP pushing 3250 lbs (give or take) is still pretty fast by today's standards.

[QUOTE=94-vette;1564203676]but lil civics wit right at 200hp. TheQUOTE]
200hp. The only Civic that even comes close to 200hp is the new SI and it only has 139 of torque. The other civics come with 140 hp and 128 torque. Anyways, you decide what you drive your vette for...If you track it, then you mod the heck out of it. But if you never race it, what is the point of getting 4-500hp??? Having hp just for talk is pointless.
Like when you see a hot girl, you notice her body first...not the hp.
So anyways the car can be as fast as you need it to be. Its only normal that with time new cars get more performant but you can always mod old vettes to make em faster if you need the hp.
