Default DYNO TIME from Kenne Bell Twin Screw

I got the news I was finally waiting for from KB.

Jim and Ken had mixed feelings about me posting all of the dyno results just yet. But I have them. This thing made 505 rwhp with ONLY 5.5 lbs of boost! And I know what happened when they turned it up to 8 but I am not allowed to tell just yet, I am really sorry guys. The power at 8 psi is shocking - and will be a suprise.

with 5.5 lbs of boost and very moderate tune 505rwhp. My only other mods are:

1) LS6 heads
2) LPE Blower Cam
3) Z06 titanium exhaust.

note: I have NO headers on the car., STOCK manifolds.

This thing has BIG BIG power potential, and I am not exaggereating the least bit. Ken and Jim are very, very excited about how well the kit is turning out and he told me it is his favorite. They said the corvette just really responds to the KB TS supercharger.

I can't because of some of the people on this board. They will try to attack and shoot it down without having facts. Jim will present all of the data first - all will be revealed very soon but here is a taste.

I will say this, it is MUCH higher than I was expecting.

I'm not surprised that they are excited. The lsx is an amazing motor on moderate boost. Makes that little Ford stuff look like junk.

Ya, and I just got off the phone with them again and they said it was acutally less than 5.5 psi that produced the 505 rwhp.

That is great power. Its been a long time for you.
I want to know the TQ at 5psi. The power comes on early so I wonder what the RWHP and RWTQ is at 3500.
When you get more info let us know,
Jon

The reason it took so long is becuase they have it perfect. The supercharger mounts the correct way. The parts are ordered this thing is a go.

Non-intercooled? That is impressive! You're in TT territory at that boost level! You're likely at around 600 rwhp at 8 psi then, but I'm thinking an intercooler would be wise by that level. Best part is, the KB will make 15 without even breathing hard, 20 psi too!

Intercooled. Like STAGED said, there is an advantage to having it right on top.

Not at 600 rwhp with 8 psi. But,.....
