Sounds like the sender needs to be replaced. How old are they. I typically get about 8 to ten years out of them and I never just replace one, I do them all.

Time to change out the broken plastic gears and replace them with metal ones. Takes a little time and effort but isn’t a complicated job.

Interesting, Safelite replaced my windshield last year and reused the molding. They must have had a policy change. Oh by the way, no problems with leaks or wind noise.
