Okay, in researching this topic of using the lower thermostat..... The ECU is programmed to the temp it came with. So I'll stick with a 2014 fitment.

Interesting. Look what did GM on 2015+ years. Cross references say it won't fit 2014's but it is physically the same.

My 2014 uses a 207 degree.
1511113 run at 194 degrees for 2015+ Corvette...

I drove my 2014 home from the museum. At 30K miles I had the transmission filter and oil changed along with the differential oil. At 60K miles I had it done again. No issues yet.
