Thanks guys.

Pat, I've only put about 200 miles on this summer. DARE and Funfest are the only 2 events I do any more and I couldn't find time for the DARE Show (14 year old daughter) and still...

Any Funfest pictures out there?

I live in Illinois 1-1/2 hours away from Effingham, pre-register every year and how did spend the Funfest weekend? In the hospital with kidney stones. I sure could use a few photos of what I missed

The only issue I had with them was immediately corrected. I thought they were extremely cooperative and I was impressed with their customer service. I can't imagine them copping an attitude.

Re: New burnout videos ! (verskel)

Have to agree with Norval & Solid. First 2 video's are kinda fun. The acceleration video is pretty stupid. Sell the Vette and get a mo-ped. Then you will only be dangerous to yourself. Our wives...

Re: valve cover sealant/gasket? (tankman)

It may depend upon the valve covers. I have the stock aluminum valve covers and use Felpro rubber gaskets with no leaks. I used Edelbrock Gaska sinch (sp?) between the gasket and the valve cover...

Re: 73 Vapor Cannister (bb Blue 73)

Welcome. I'm not sure what the "bowl" is that you refer to. The port "tube" coming out of the canister is connected to a hard line from the gas tank. I can't read the top of the cannister, but...

Re: Who's heading to MidAmerica Funfest? (73 LS-4)

We're going Saturday early and have to leave early too. Did you go to the Edwardsville DARE show? I was warming up in the garage at 8AM last Sunday and decided against going. About 10 minutes...

Re: Where does everyone buy there performance parts? (BlackRat)

I used to prefer Summit. I wouldn't buy a part from them now with your money. I called and had some questions about a item that I wanted to buy and the wanker on the phone insisted I call the...

Re: Felpro Intake Gasket Install (Zealot-6)

I used a thin bead of RTV around the water jacket ports on both sides of the gasket and the front and rear rails of the lifter valley and pitched the cork. I used the GM brand teflon sealer for the...

Re: Valve Cover Gasket ??? (mvftw)

I'm using the Felpro rubber with the L82 covers. The rigidity of the valve covers works great with the rubber gaskets. You can even remove them and reinstall them with no leaks. Either way you go...

Re: K&N x-stream airfilter.....can you use it on a 75? (vetteguy75)

It doesn't interfere with anything. For an example, the correct K&N air filter has like a 10" outer diameter and an 8" inner diameter. The Xtreme lid is a 9" outer diameter so the edge of the lid...

Re: K&N x-stream airfilter.....can you use it on a 75? (vetteguy75)

I have the K&N filter and the Xtreme lid. They don't make a lid that is the correct size for the filter. It does work but the edge of the lid seats in the middle of the top of the air filter. Did...
