FS: VB&P wheel adaptors 2.5" to fit late model corvette wheels to C3

I am selling a set of four (4) VB&P wheels adaptors that I used for less than one season on my 1969 Vette. The adaptors measure 2.5" thick. The adaptors worked great on my car with a set of 17x9.5"...

Re: How in the world do I fit Torq Thrust Ds on my Vette!!! (MN-Brent)

You could just get the TTII's and powdercoat the centers grey. That is what I was planning on doing.

Re: Tire width (SmithBros)

255/50/16 should work. I'm not sure they offer anything wider than that in a 16 inch wheel. With my ZR1 set up and adaptors, I'm running 275/40/17 all the way around.

Re: Finally got that L-88 hood painted. Pic too. (Jughead)

It looks great!
And now for the questions:
Was it hard to match the silver? Who painted it? for how much?

I am going to get my Baldwin Motion style hood painted this summer! :D

Re: Sway bar suggestions (70 LS1)

I went through this a few months back and everyone seemed to recommend no bigger than 1 1/8" front and 5/8" or less rear for my aluminum head/intake SB 69'. I have only heard of big block cars...

Re: Anyone think this is low? (Cali,68,L-79)

Read more carefully-------"Frame-Up Restoration"
I'm not sure exactly what that is supposed to mean....but I'm pretty sure that it does not mean Frame-off (judging by the pictures at least). If it...

Re: Which Wheel setup is better?? Wife dont like the Boyds...errr! (jorez)

I like the Boyd's much better! Swap out those short tires for a 255-50-17 and you will be set.
I'm not a big fan of the front wheels at all......I guess I've just seen to many old beat-up pickup...

Re: BRIGHT BLUE OR LIGHT BLUE METALIC PAINT? (wadey)

I would go with the bright blue, it looks great in person. The light blue metalic just doesn't fit C3's very well IMO.

Re: Should I blow out my brake lines? (wackedvette)

I would worry about harming the proportioning valves. I would just run plenty of fluid through it to make sure its all clear.

Re: Any one want some side skirts? (wackedvette)

Hmmmmmmm...if the mounting holes are all good and they are in good shape(not dinged up), I will take them for $75.

Re: Sidepipes from Summit? (sting74)

You dont really want the slip in mufflers, they rob a lot of power and beautiful music. :D So you can subtract 140 from the 1013 to get $873... that is much more reasonable!
You can always add JCL...

Re: Is this a fair ebay auction? (wackedvette)

I think I would have been more descriptive with the title....something like
"1968 Corvette Stingray Parts- Rocker Panels, 1968 Dated Calipers and Master Cylinder, and Dash Wiring Harness", that way...
