I have not seen one in person so not sure how much more it protrudes over the oem air box.
If the factory carpet can be maintained without modifications that would be my choice.

If you look at the pictures you can see the spacer nestled in the recess on a CCB application

Might want to reach out to them to be sure

Reminds me of a subwoofer from the 90's when people would display them. I personally wouldn't cut my carpet if choosing the Eventuri. All for the gains if any but prefer a stealth appearance.
