another tire recommendation thread...

so I'm looking to put blackwalls on my '62 with painted steel wheels, aside from Radial T/As (which is what I usually use), what else do yall recommend? I've got a set of Hankook Kinergy whitewalls...

I've got 17x7 4" backspacing with 225/50 on the '65 now....so thats what I am measuring against....I do think 3.75 backspacing will work,


DZ AUTO....what size is that rear tire in the drag...

215/70 Whitewalls?

I am looking for at least a 215/70 (and maybe a 225/70 for the rear)1 inch or so whitewall for a '62...got discs on the front, so I'm gonna try the Wheel Vintiques Series 67 maybe in a 7" and 8"...

changing hood prop from passenger to driver side

so I want to get another hood for my car, but it mounts on the drivers side...of course my current one mounts on the passenger side....what kind of trouble am I going to run into by trying to change...

yeah, thats whats coming with mine....just looking for options.....I had switched to the 7" straight Hurst handle on the 4-speed, liked it a little better.... now I'm concerned it may be too tall

I honestly cant tell what that it before the 6S...It looks like a 1...but a different font than the other 1 ....I have pretty much come to the same conclusion....its nothing important, was the engine...

heres the backside...they arent built like the spinners I have for my repro KOs....and I dont think they will separate from the threaded part.....
