I mixed up the ATF-Acetone mixture and started the process....

The HP engine code for 1966 denotes L79 with AC, PS and 4 speed.

Since there is no code for an L79 with AC, 4 speed, and WITHOUT PS...can one assume that all cars built with AC also had PS? Or did...

It was indeed a fuel pump issue.
The pin/rivet holding the actuator came out and at some point the spring broke.
