Are you saying it's not blowing hard enough, or at all?

I haven't owned a C3 in a bit, but, don't they have a fan with 3 settings? Do just some of them work? Cuz if so, I'd lean towards the switch.

When I saw "spindle", I was thinking the needle bearings in the U joint. I was missing one (or three) on a cars years ago and it has crazy intermittent vibration issues.

How old is your gas? I've had bad gas ruin almost everything I own at one point in the last ten years.
