Many thanks for the advice:thumbs: The cap is under a lot of back pressure and it literally popped up into my hand as I was wiggling it free.

Dry Sump Fill Cap Stuck

Changing the oil and cannot get the fill cap removed. I turned it about 180 degrees and would have to force it to turn further. Is the cap fully threaded on or do you feel for a detent and tug off?...

Best Oil Filter Wrench?

Which will work the best for the Z. The exhaust runs right by the filter, not leaving much room. Got me thinking that there may be a filter wrench out there that will make this job easier.

I like the looks of the OEM better. They were designed to look like afterburners when the brakes are applied and I think GM nailed it. I do like how yours look static though.
