If you decide to go this route, they remove the clamps and aligned the entire exhaust. A few very small tack welds will be used to keep it all in place. The X-pipe, cats & the intermediate...

Lou,

I had the same issues. How about taking it to the exhaust shop & have them weld the RT cats to the X-pipe. This way you're able to get rid of the clamps( and worries) and have a nice flush...

I have the LG's with RT cats and the stock Ti-exhaust. I gained 21HP & 21TQ w/o a tune and the AFR reflects it. So there is definitely more power & torque to be found with a good dyno tune.

When I did the install on my 03 Z06, I only had to remove the coil pack, air tube plumbing & the black bolt from the steering shaft. The old manifold was lifted out & the LG was slid in from below ...
