As 69L88 said.Use lithium grease,or at least,not petroleum base(like vaseline).Maybe even silicone base.Petroleum base grease tends to melt some plastics over time.

I was just about ready to do the post MR D did. Google battery mfgs, and you come up with the 3 mfg. Then find what brands are made by who. Johnson control seems to be the best.
