Probably too late but Edelbrock is selling a Performer manifold with an oil fill tube and cap now, both provided in chrome. Part number is 2703. Use your original valve covers.

I agree! Putting the fob in the slot gets the car started but it has no clue as to which fob it is, hence the strange radio settings and seat positions. Pushing the 1 or 2 on the drivers door...
