the maggie does not need an additional check valve, it is always connected behind the TB and ahead of the blower so it never sees boost.
a catch can will help you keep the inter cooler core clean.

your sig says 3.1 pulley you can go down to 2.9 before you get into clearance issues. as to cost I have no idea I do almost all of my own work. I;m around 11.5 psi with ported heads and a cam.
