c8 seats - airbag solution?

I have the c8 seats retrofitted and was wondering if anyone has come up with clever solution for the airbag holes to either cover or remove them?

Fuel smell in cabin when vents on?

Anyone know what causes this? When I have the vents on such as a/c I get fuel smell inside the cabin. I tried changing air filter under hood. Not sure what else.
