Look noises are tough to diagnose. I would lube the u-joins 1st that is if they have grease nibs. If they dont then spray the snaught out of them with oil. If the noise stops then that may be it.

Seems to me like a lot of wasted effort and money, Why not just power wash frame and oil spray much better rust control then what you did.

Ok Here is the deal, I did use a stripper and yes it is safe But wait it will eat away any bondo and previous repaired areas. You will create far more work then it’s necessary. Would I do it again No...

Ya I noticed that on other hot-rod boards they do hate Vette guys, I think a lot of that was our fault I do think that vette guys are a bit snobbish. The non-vette guys refer to chevette owners and...

Word to the wise never install a used Cam. "Period" Always install a new cam and lifters as a set. L48 will never make any more power, unless you change pistons, heads, cam, intake, Q-jet best...
