Sorry, the proper name is headlight switch nut, not "dash stud". I watched the you tube video, my problem is that I can't get the nut to align and screw into the switch once the switch is plugged in...

C-1 (1960) light switch

Folks,

Trying to install a new light switch in my 1960 for the last few hours. plugging the new one into the harness was no problem. I just can't get the dash "stud" to screw into the new switch....

I did the weatherstrip on my 63 SWC a few years back. For the first few weeks, I had to force the doors shut. After a few weeks, they were fine. Just had to compress the polymer for awhile,

Unfortunately, the nut doesn't have a lot of "flat" edges left (my Irish temper didn't help). I tried the other lines going into the proportioning valve, none will move even with the penetrating oil!!
