My dad was a 2 foot driver, and that's the way I learned. I always drive using both feet. Much more efficient. No, I don't rest my foot on the brake pedal, use the dead pedal. That's why it's there!

I inherited my 73 with Hurst shifter and OEM shift handle including T lever.
The T doesn't do anything, just have to push a little harder to the left to get into the Reverse gate.

Not uncommon...

My 73 base convertible had holes predrilled in both the TAs and the frame. They were hard to find from all the years of build up but I found them and used them!
Car evidently never had a rear bar...
