Amplifiers have a "High Level" input but you can buy actual adapters.
Personally I'd look at a quality separate adapter -like this...

I've seen that picture before....the power brake set up was IIRC from a newer (post 74) car. The manual was from my 71. Just FYI.

I have manual brakes on my 71- Love them!!!

You'll be way ahead of the game if you don't reuse the OEM wires. They are noisy.

Run a power and ground directly to the battery and you can re use the yellow wire for the ignition trigger wire....

You can always run a smaller fuse-

You want the fuse as close to the source ( battery )...
