Yes to all. I put a usb charge port in that hole but since I usually leave my phone in the console it's really only for passenger convenience. Might still delete that and put an emblem or something...

There's a small, brittle vacuum line that runs from the air pump to the vacuum T under the reservoir behind the PCM. Make certain the line hasn't failed before replacing the pump.

I'll guess increased oil pressure at high RPM helps it get past the seal. I replaced my balancer due to wobble and was suprised how deep a groove was worn into it. Bet you find the same.
