Yes the runners are totally hollow on the inside all the way down to where it mates with the base. Because of this extra breathing I should consider something more duration?

With a mild cam and extrude honed intake, big runners,and exhaust would I see any gains by springing for the AFRs...

I am in the process of bringing my 85 back to more of a factory look but with a few mods. I already have it torn down to the lower intake for cleaning and thought it would be a good time for heads...
