Ohh Yea

:iagree: Never drove a GT3 but have been behind the wheel of many other including the turbo's.

I currently own a 2005 and the only thing I would really like to see Corvette do is improve the...

Ditto

:iagree: I have it in my 2005 and do like it but wouldn't bother a second time.

It does handle very well and I do like the lower gears in the MZ6 but the ride does leave a little to be desired....

C6 is a drivers car

:iagree: C3 would be a great car for a garage queen and show car, but, if you want to go out on the open road and travel it is C6 all the way.

I agree

In our area "judged shows" have decreased. Non-judged shows or just cruise in's have increased.

There is a big difference between racing and judging. you get there first you win. In a judged...

2005 - z51

I just replaced the rears after 15K miles. Trashed one with a nail.

I now have Firestones on the rear and GY F1 supercar on the front. Handles fine on the road and better in the rain.

I...

W o w

Beautiful, BUT, way to late in the season.

Frost this AM but now snow. One of your locals was visiting over the weekend and we were sitting in the back yard in the sun.

I had to comment here

I also have an 05 Z51 manual. It had to be towed/flatbed to the dealer 6 times in the first two years. It took 3 batteries and finally a re-flash to give me a car that was reasonably reliable.

Understand

I understand your frustrations. For over 2 years I had numerous problems and paid over $60K for my Z51 loaded vert. It even had to visit the paint shop before I took delivery because of delivery...

I'v got you beat on the low end

I only have about 15,600 when it went into storage in November.

First two years I owned it I was afraid to take in anywhere overnight because of DBS. Towed 6 times and 3 new batteries does not...

DBS is not an option on a $60K car

:iagree: I have a 2005 and had DBS 6 times. It took 3 batteries and a re-flash to fix the problem. Dealer never gave me any excuses. The re-flash worked for me.

I will NOT put a battery tender...

Unless the top is down. I have had dark interiors. Leave the top down on a sunny summers day and burn your butt when you get back in.

I currently have LMB with Tan top and Tan interior. I...

Why Not

Don't know about Benton, but, I travel in areas in New England where there is NO service available.

I picked up a nail and went to "0" pressure. Locals couldn't handle a tire and rim that size....

Nice Stan,

No snow here yet but I know it is coming. Never did get a chance to come up and visit our mutual friend this year. Maybe next summer.

I loved my Audi Q but recently bought a...

The only one that really does bother me is #3.

My C5 would automatically adjust the seat, my C6 doesn't. One small step back for GM.

In the MZ6 transmission, first and second are very close gears and first is very low. As someone said I would never downshift into 1st when rolling at all. Especially in the MZ6.

FYI the gear...

Canon or Nikon = Real Camera's

I went with Canon for a lot of reasons.

I am sure that after you buy your first DSLR you will catch the bug. It is kind of like modding the Vette.

Here are some examples of the Canon 40D...

Or Scratch and Dent

We have a small shop "Scratch and Dent" that fixed a deep scratch on my LMB 2005. Did a very nice job and much much cheaper than a body shop.

I have used Meguiars for small scratches and been...

Z51 is a little stiffer

If fact if you live in a area with bad roads it will seem harsh.

I have the Z51 now and have had the base on my last vette. Driving over roads with cracks and small holes as a result of "winter...
