I totally agree. Moving the MAF closer to the TB results in a better air flow read. Throwing codes is total B.S. It will NOT throw codes. As far as relying on Chuck Cow's ( AKA "Chuck Boom's")...

Failure of the o-ring between the pump and pickup tube will create EXACTLY the problem that you are experiencing.......little to no pickup and pumping of oil at low RPMs.
