I've tried going to a place to tune it at a local place in my town and they said they dont tune the L98 computers. i could give that a try but i can't have anything like that, just a snap on scan...

Hello everyone,
i just rebuilt the bottom end ( new pistons, crank, camshaft, bearings etc
-bored .030 oversize
-stock heads with new valve job
-camshaft from comp cams (set up at 0 degrees)...

also the red wire got very hot most likely getting alot of current. This issues usually occurs more often when the engine is hot.

okay ill look into that and the wire to the alternator is the original 10 gauge wire. i put in a aftermarket radio awhile ago not recently. wasn't doing this after i installed the aftermarket radio.

stock timing should at 6 degrees advanced. correct?
if we bring it down it will bring the idle down and might cause it to stall more IMO

spoke the to comp cams today and they told me i should get the engine tuned to the new cam which means putting a hyper chip in it.
fuel pressure is at 45 psi and jumps up to 52psi with vacuum hose...
