AC Questions

I was wondering can I use a universal condenser, drier and a Sanden AC compressor, with the original evaporator on an 80 Corvette? I know I would have to make some custom lines, but would it work?

I think I will get a 2nd opinion before before going through all the work and expense of replacing the railing arm. Who knows maybe the old alignment rack needs to be aligned.
