BHP, I can't agree with you more. I have 2001 which is in for piston replacement with the updated teflon coated pistions and the new oil ring. I sure hopes this get rid of the ping and pistion...

From what I was told, was that the LS-1 Heads are pertty well ported out and for the money, depending on what it cost to do the P&P it is sometimes better to just buy a new set designed for the best...
