Took mine to the dealer 10 days ago and they agreed to replace the screen however GM says the screens are on backorder with no timeframe of when they will have more.

I'm in DC traffic too and have found that 2nd gear is your friend. There is enough torque to creep along in 2nd with proper spacing. I also take it out of gear when stopped in traffic and at lights.
