Might be worth it for non-mission-critical applications. I've got any number of digital calipers, thermometer, etc that use that size and are too stupid to shut themselves off after a decent interval.

Looks like some sort of aftermarket splitter/spoiler is installed on the front: methinks the front fascia and maybe the fenders were removed/replaced at some point after it left the factory.
