Acceleration Flat Spot -2013 Coupe

When the engine is cold and accelerating in 1st and 2nd, there is a hesitation ~2000-2500 rpm. RPM briefly drops so not a clutch slip. Once the engine has been driven a few miles the issue goes away....

I am from NY. The law is 2 plates. There is legislation to remove the front plate requirement but it has not been passed. I do not have a plate on my C6 and no ticket after 2 years.

RFs can be patched like any other tire. I caught a nail in the tread, plugged several thousand miles ago.. No issues, no air loss over time.

I use Meguiar's exterior detail spray on them once a week. Shines like new. If they are really dirty Megiuars compound.

Or it could be just the linkage. Forward clutch failure usually results in nothing in all gears except reverse. So good luck!
