I'm guessing the 2015-16 MY will have a 10 speed auto. GM and Ford are currently working together on a 10 speed auto. Ford has already said the mustang will be getting it.

I have a valet mode on two of my cars non Vettes. Both allow you to set the top speed the car can go and a max distance as well. I'm sure the dealer could override that function though.
