Makes it easier to clean IMO. Nothing in there for water to hurt, in fact you'll be surprised at how little they do to protect the car after you remove them.

anyone know off hand the offset for weld skinnines? I have RTS's but they came off a C6Z and stick out a little. I'd like to get alumastars.

Easiest way to the cam sensor.

Just got my car back from getting a new motor and the cam sensor is bad. I've heard the water pump has to come off?? Anyone know of an easier way??

I had hot idle oil pressures of about 12-15, next weekend I beat on the car a lil bit and boom! Spun bearing, be careful with low oil pressure or you will buy a 13k motor... Just sayin :)

I'm getting my motor rebuilt and going cam only, what's the biggest cam you put in with the factory manifolds. I want a 235 250 640ish cam but wondering if it would be too big without headers?

There is a lot of metal in the oil filter so I'm just gonna buy a crate motor and either try and sell the bad motor or rebuild it to use as a backup or try and sell it as a rebuilt motor.

I'm pulling the oil filter and sending it out to be looked at for what type of metal (if any) is in it. If it's a Bearing, is it better to fix the stock motor or buy a short block?

Another one bites the dust...

Lost oil pressure last night, was not leaking so hopefully the block can be saved. It had a small rattle, but I shut it off right away so I'm not sure where it was coming from, maybe a spun berring?
