3) press Gauges button ,light will flash, hold until flashing stops, change oil light will go out and be reset

It also cycles in order to keep it at the temp setting you have it on since it's the climate...

usually when it cycles often it sounds like it's low on freon. Also check to see if the low freon switch is going bad.
