Robert u need to do some more isolating since u only have one FOB.....get another FOB that u know works from a friend...etc and also try your FOB on their PKE system......so that u can know if it is...

sometimes if your grounds r not secure that will also lead to wine..i would recheck all your grounds and make sure they r nice and tight.

Most SYS "not all" relate to a low/bad battery or charging sys......some times if a resistor is not placed when a aftermarket radio is installed the SYS will pop up....due to the dimming...

On the 94 u can give your PKE a Diagnosis:
It might be that your Reciever Output is going bad or u have a loose connection, also c if u can get another FOB from a friends that u know works and try...

Was the SYS there before the Hypertech.....if so...99% of the time it is dealing with the battery/charging sys.....as stated on the above post......charge your battery first or have it...

99% of the time SYS deals with a battery/charging problem.....i would charge the battery first, since it was in storage for 3 months.....your battery could of gone low.

do u have a buddy with a 93-96.....use there FOB....and program it to your vette.....that is another way to isolate.

BTW: u r talking about the Helms Diagnosis,(DTC 12/13/14/15/16/17)

Thrills is on the right track to disengaged/engaged the PKE by holding the button for 2 sec.... but the transmitter Only UNLOCKS when the button is pressed, so if u turn off the PKE u have to lock...
