Hate to say it...but it sounds like an Opti issue. Maybe Ignition Coil? Nothing should be getting wet under the hood from sitting in the rain, but humidity could cause the opti issue

So...I am not sure why this would even be...

So...I am not sure why this would even be related...but my Corvette died the other day and the Ignition Coil was bad. After replacing the coil...the whistling noise has stopped. No idea why that...

I was able to get a better video on the way home...

I was able to get a better video on the way home tonight where I could maintain my speed for a little bit. You can really hear the Whistling noise in this video. It doesn't sound like a belt usually...

I found the bushings available through Ecklers...

I found the bushings available through Ecklers for $6.99...I think that I will go ahead and order these as the consensus seems to be that the bushings go bad, not necessarily the gear itself.
