Change Spark Plugs....from the top or underneath?

Is it better to change spark plugs going from the top of the engine? Or would it be easier to jack up the car, place them on jack stands and go underneath the Vette?

Courtesy and Cargo Light......Stays on

in my 1975 Vette, my courtesy and Cargo bay lights stay on after I shut the door. Even checked to make sure the headlight switch was turned off.
