I don't know how fanatical you are, but I plan on using liquid rubber and liquid electrical tape to re-new my bumpers, cost around $15. Done Boom!

Good luck with the '76!! It looks like you have a good leg up on the floor pans alreay. I just bought a '77 that sat for 5 years. But it's a year newer so i shouldn't have any problems with it...
