well my coolant tank is cracked on my 2002 :( oh well go and get a replacement right? WRONG
I looked at the doorman tank and that one does not have the coolant level sensor in it...

Well I took the splitter off and sure enough instead of the temps fluctuating between 226 and 236 it ran a nice even 180 to 190 and that is with it being 104 today. It was the splitter! and I guess...

that makes sense! if one of the fans has given out then when in series neither would spin I didn't think about that before. My guess is the drivers side since it is hard to see if it is spinning

I have looked at the schematic of the fans and basically what it does is at low speed it sends 12 volts through both fans in series so each fan gets 6 volts ie low speed for high speed the circuit...

First off mine is a real corvette :hide: so it is a manual trans. Also a couple of years ago I upgraded it to an rpm trans :) as for buying another one well I have done a lot of upgrades to this one...
