My '63, built on May 29 came with an engine assembled on 0208. It's an RF and I think the engine sat in the back and was pulled late in production. It happens.

But this is a 4 1/2 year old...

The nice thing about Mercedes' Brilliant Silver...

The nice thing about Mercedes' Brilliant Silver is the very fine metallic particles. It does look a bit "white" though. In my opinion it's the best silver ever put on a car.
