If you put a new engine in it, it will need a new transmission down the line. The new engine and a lead foot will definitely wear out the old transmission.

I did my own also. The only real benefit of doing it yourself is taking the time of REALLY cleaning the engine bay up, especially in front of the engine. Price is not to far off. Not a easy job.

Those are the 1999 Shelby Cobra Series 1 Rims. A while back someone was selling a set for about $2000.00. Baddest rims you can put on a C4 but on a GS or ZR1.

Have your FX3 shocks rebuilt. Delta Vee racing will rebuild them. Had mine rebuilt last year. Even with low miles, I'm sure the shocks are possibly leaking or seals are degraded.

If you have the room, keep it AND buy the ZL1. I was seriously thinking about the ZL1 myself. Wifey loves the C7 but the ZL1 is a 2 + 2.
